A Rich History Dating Back to 1945

The Scouts were chartered in 1945

We celebrated a 75-Year Anniversary

60 Boys (and counting) have attained EAGLE SCOUT

Who we are

Troop 33 is part of the Texas Armadillo District which is one of twelve geographic subdivisions in. the Capitol Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, which serves the youth in 15 counties in Central Texas

We meet Tuesdays at 7PM at the St Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church on the corner of Oltorf and S. Congress Ave.

Elections and Leadership Training

Elections are held twice a year for leadership positions 

Two Junior Leadership Training Seminars per year

One Patrol Leaders Council Meeting every second Tuesday of the month

We provide a minimum of 6 Opportunities per Year


EAGLE SCOUT

What it Means….. How it is earned

A Scout can obtain the Eagle status by the age of 18. It takes much perseverance.

The honor and prestige of earning this title is priceless.


SCOUT CAMP-OUTS

Once a month, on weekends

$20 to 25 is due at the Scout Meeting Prior to the Trip

This covers gas, food and camping fees.

Generally meet at the Scout Hut to load the Scout Trailer Friday 6 PM 

Generally depart Friday 7 PM and return Sunday at approx 11 AM
